This 1/4' to the foot model features in "STRUCTURES - SOME THEORY", where I have outlined how the concept as developed for this diorama. It started from plans of a very simply plain building and hopefully finished as one with plenty of interest. It was also my first stand alone diorama that I had built. Before this all my structures had been built to be installed into a model railroad. However it was installed in an On3 layout called OLD OPHIR. |

OH DEAR . . . SHOCK, HORROR! After the diorama had been removed from my old On3 layout, OLD OPHIR, it sat around the layout room in a flat box, until one day a baseboard fell onto it, and the result can be seen above. It languished under a bench for a few years collecting dirt, mouse droppings and dust. Eventually I got around to rebuilding it and the result can be seen below, with a few new details added. |
